Joelle Jones joins the show, thanks once again to David Walker, who has to overcome a case of the vapors in order to continue. Luckily, there’s no better smelling salt than the stank of “Punisher: War Zone,” which Dave gives a quick review of before awarding two thumbs up to the fake cake Joelle brought to the studio. Joelle, freshly returned from London, tells tales of growing up with 13 other people in a one-bathroom house, the overly friendly bus-pal she had to shake at the tube station (they use oysters as currency over there) before delving into a more serious subject – death. Her current comics project necessitates she look at a lot of it, and she and Dave kick around the worries that plague anyone who tells stories for a living: How much of this is benefitting my story, and how much of it is there just to be there? All that, plus awesome TV theme songs, and a Pug who hates Stephen Colbert.

Great show guys, can’t wait to see Byron’s reaction to the cake. “You finally got me FREE FOOD!” Please don’t tell him it’s fake.
Also though, just wanted to inform those interested in one thing: Pathfinder is not just a comic, it’s a pencil-and-paper, tabletop RPG closely related to Dungeons and Dragons 3.5.
The whole system is here: paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/
(this is not a correction, just a nerdy addendum)
Actually it wouldn’t matter if you fell 150′ or 1000′ because once you reach terminal velocity you aren’t gaining anything.
What is considered a costume at Comic Con is just clothes in NYC.
isn’t that how it is here too?
Can I just mention that Joelle Jones voice is super duper sexy as hell. Seriously. That’s all.
Joelle Jones is just sexy period. Voice and the whole package.
Besides the Olympics, the reason they might not have covered the suicide is because a lot of news outlets won’t report on them. News agencies here in Portland won’t report on them unless there’s something else around it, like the woman who drove her car down Salmon and in to the river.
“Sexx Laws” by Beck is the only other song I know that successfully combines banjo & funk horns.
Also following up on Dresdenfanatd, it has nothing to do with the Pathfinder movie.
