Ryan Fleming comes not to bury G4, but to celebrate it. Well, actually, no, he comes to bury it, and to worry about those left behind as NBC/Universal announces their plans to make it the DudeBro network, essentially, because everyone knows only ONE SpikeTV is not enough. He also tries to slow the roll on some of the iPhone 5 rumors floating around, before engaging in a bit of prognostication when it comes to the WiiU, the release date and pricing of which get revealed later this week. Once the nintendo nerding is over with, Marvel’s prospective plans for the Punisher and Daredevil are mulled over, while DC’s attempt to get a new Wonder Woman show on the air are discussed, and finally – kickball will be the death of us all.

I love Supernatural but yeah, the end of season 5 is where to stop. That is where Eric Kripke intended to end it and indeed, that is when he left the show. The CW just keeps renewing the bloody thing. :D

Agreed. I don’t invest in a lot of TV on DVD/Blu-Ray, but I own 1-5 of this show happily. Definitely worth watching up to that point.

Daredevil must be a show. It must be a show on a premium channel!

The days-after-playing-a-new-sport muscle soreness is always fun. I dropped in on a Recesstime pick-up dodgeball night last November and could barely move for the next 5 days. Like, “Holy shit, this is the first sign that I’m actually getting old…” kind of pain.

On a related note, if you guys are going to do dodgeball in the winter, start getting ready now. Seriously. It really hurt.

madmarvelgirl Posted on I totally agree about Jean. They were only strnitag to get at the potential of that character when she died. Both times. (Both times she stayed dead; not talking about other times).I can’t think that I’ve ever drifted away from a story immediately following a character death, but I know that lineups definitely have an affect on my interest in following stories. I say I’m an X-men’ fan, but there are a lot of classic’ stories I haven’t bothered with because they don’t have Scott or Jean in them.

Didn’t TechTV once have a show that was just music playing and some sort of synchronized visualizer on-screen?

G4 used to have some pretty cool original programming too:

Although it is a bit bro-ish even back in 2004 and it’s being straight up out done by Machinima’s ‘All Your HIstory” series, seeing this on a Saturday afternoon waiting for Doom 3′s release was pretty damn cool in a world without youtube.

Leo LaPorte is on the podcast kick. He has a number of diffrent shows. Tech Tv and Leo LaPorte just moved to podcasting. It’s actually pretty cool. It even has some of the same people from Tech TV on the podcasts. You can go to Itunes and look for him and you will find the name of his network (which I forget).

WHen I first read about the WiiU, I had an amazing idea. Roleplaying where the person with the main controller pad is the DM. It’s perfect.
Of course, not that Penny Arcade posted this:

NO one will believe me; however it’s still a great idea and I see the opportunity for a lot of scenarios where someone is the ‘director’ of events for the players.

Cort’s abusive family aside, I also think that for a lot of younger kids 8-12, being able to help will be fun. And Nintendo does very well in the market.

I’ve seen all the Supernatural Seasons and I agree that Seasons 1 till 5 are the best ones without a doubt but Season 6 and 7 arent terrible and its still entertaining to watch sam and dean :D
